SERGEY PICHAKHCHI 1963

Was born on june 20, 1963 in the village of Marinovka of the Tselinograd Region.
In 18995-1989 he was studying at the pedagogical department of
the Art College named after V. Serov in Leningrad, USSR.
In 1990 S.A. Pichakhchi jointed the faculty of painting of the institute of
Painting, Sculture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin.
In 1996 he was granted with a training period in Italy for his diploma piece of art
"Paint3 (the studio of A. A. Mylnikov).
Since 1998 S. A. Pichakhchi is a member of the RF Union of Painters.
Since 1997 till now he has been teaching at the institute of Painting,
Sculture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin.

EXHIBITIONS AND COMPETITIONS:

1997 S. A. Pichakhchi got a diploma of the competition "Muses of St. Petersburg".
1998 A participation in the competition of the projects for Christ the Saviour Cathedral,
S. A. Pichakhchi was a participant of the exhibition "A Road to the Temple".
1999 A participation in teh restauration of the painting of Christ the Saviour Cathedral (Moscow).
1999-2000 A participation in the creation of sketches of mosaics for
the Cathedral of the Holy Cross Exaltation (the village of Lisino in the Leningrad Region).
2000-2001 A participation in the creation of sketches for the Cathedral of the Mother of God of the Sign in Kursk.
2002 A participation in the creation of mosaics for the Cathedral of St. Sergius of Radonezh
in the South African Republic.

The works by S. A. Pichakhchi are stored in private collections in Russia, USA, the Netherlands, Germany, France, China and Finland.
